SECC President left out of new yearbook

My statements are made in respect to the general comments made on this post and not solely focused on you.

I am responding more to statements that have pretty clearly been made on speculation and not evidence. I think that is wrong.

In my former job employees came to me for help when accused of wrong doing. I had the ability to plead their case before an independent person who would decide. When I saw that the charge was based upon speculation, I would demand evidence. If there was only speculation, I would get the charge thrown out.

President Wilson may have had something to do with it. But, no evidence has been alleged here. The only allegation against him is speculation. He should not be so accused, without evidence.

It could also be someone else who assumed that this was the way to deal with the situation. When the Seventh-day Adventist Bible Commentary was printed the section on Hebrews was written by Graham Maxwell. then, if I recall correctly, one of the Corinthians was by Elder Heppenstal (who could not decide between the Forensic view and a view very similar to Dr. Maxwell's view, and in the commentary was giving his understanding that was similar to Dr. Maxwell's) and the author of the commentary notes on Colossians expressed similar views. Elder Nichol approved their manuscripts. However, some unknown worker, without authorization, edited these 3 sections to change them from what the authors wrote and what Elder Nichols and the commentary board approved to make it fit the traditional forensic view of the atonement.

For all we know, someone involved with the publishing, who feels strongly about the issue, did this for their own emotions. Let's take this view unless we learn otherwise.

OK here is what we do know.

1. NAD executive Committee passed a resolution allowing unions to ordain women and have woman as conference presidents. Fact. Ted Wilson called the president of the NAD into his office for a meeting. Next day the Executive committee reversed their vote. Did Ted Wilson have any influence in this. Most definitely,

2. Ted Wilson sent a letter to the president of Pacific Union to read to the Constituency of Southeastern. The letter said that a women would NOT be recognized as president of Southeastern California conference and implied that she would not be allowed to vote at world church business. The Pacific union president after reading the letter which got a loud angry murmer from the constituents that the people who vote at the world church meetings are sent there by the union and are union delegates so that Sandra Roberts would be allowed to vote as she would be a union delegate.

Sandra Roberts was voted in by over 70 percent margin

Two days later

3. Ted Wilson and the GC posted on their web site that the election of a women was regrettable by an Un named Conference in the church. That the church will not recognize that person as president of the conference.

4. Sandy Roberts left out of the 2014 yearbook and the editor quoted the policy that Ted Wilson instigated and had posted on the GC website.

So one can argue that Ted Wilson was behind the policy that was posted on the GC website and the yearbook left her name out of the yearbook. I doubt very much that yearbook editor would have made a decision like that without consulting with Ted Wilson for he could be in very serious trouble if Ted Wilson did not approve of that.

Do you think for one moment that anyone at the GC would admit that Ted Wilson was behind this directly. Of course not. We all know he was behind this either directly or behind the scenes. You see his hand and his policies at work behind the scenes.

At the very least one had to admit that the policy Ted Wilson put in place of no woman president of a conference will be recognized by the GC is behind this 2014 yearbook omittance of Sandy Roberts as president. Therefore either directly or indirectly Ted Wilson is behind this.
