Yes I have followed it. It appears the plane is into the sea, but what happened? We may never know the story but it would certainly be a blessing for the family members to have answers.

Have prayed for our Lord to give the family members some peace and comfort.

It certainly appears to have been an intentional thing -- otherwise why didn't the pilots tell the tower what they were dealing with.

Such a puzzle.

I pray they'll be able to retrieve the black boxes.

Saw an excellent article from an experienced pilot that suggested something catastrophic went wrong with the plane, disabling its communications. The pilot's turned for the nearest available airport at which a plane that size could land, but then the plane depressurized and everyone on board became unconscious. It flew on as long as its fuel lasted as a 'ghost plane' on autopilot, then crashed. It's speculation, but fits the details of the observed trajectory and transmissions, and is based on a lot of experience and knowledge.

Yes. This morning I saw a news article which said the automatic flight path was changed after the pilot had said "All right. Good night." to the tower. So it could definitely be that something drastic occurred about that time.

It's just so rare these days that these big modern planes get lost where the "black boxes" are not available. Everybody wants to know what happened... so it can be avoided in the future.

But since the plane continued to fly for about five hours after it turned around, the cockpit voice recorder would be useless even if it's found, since that recorder uses a continuous tape which rerecords over itself every two hours [or so].

These are the puzzles which intrigue me.

I guess I just need to rely on my faith in God to know that should I ever find myself in such a situation, all I need to do is trust God. We'll all be meeting Him in heaven very soon, anyway.

Who knows what happened to MF370?

I watch the news and study Bible prophecy. Seeing that terrorists could not breach enhanced security; they probably bribed the crew to deliver the plane to them. (Isn't that how the Mongolians invaded China so many years ago?)

If such a terrorism plot should prove to be true, it is most likely in a hanger in Iran awaiting the anniversary of some tragedy that has never been avenged. You know like the one where the American warship shot down a civilian airplane in the 80's thinking that it was a hostile bomber. And when GHW Bush became president, he gave the captain that shot down the civilian Iranian plane a medal.

I would not be surprised if they are preparing to crash it into a US Aircraft carrier in the Persian Gulf. Imagine, while the world is searching for a plane loaded with Chinese citizens, an American naval captain has to decide if he is going to shoot the missing plane out of the sky and kill all of the passengers or let it be a 9/11 style bomb?

USS John C. Stennis and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower are both Nimitz class aircraft carriers. USA is only having one at a time in the Persian Gulf now that budget restraints have taken place.

Malaysia announced yesterday that a search for Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 will resume this month, more than a decade after the jet’s disappearance—and months after the effort was postponed due to poor weather. The government has pledged $70M to the US robotics company Ocean Infinity if it can produce wreckage. On March 8, 2014, the Beijing-bound Boeing 777 aircraft stopped transmitting location data, 39 minutes after taking off from Kuala Lumpur. After exiting Malaysian airspace, the plane veered off course (see flight path) with satellite data indicating the aircraft continued flying for hours. Multiple international search efforts failed to reveal the jet’s location; the plane is believed to have crashed somewhere in the Indian Ocean, killing all 239 people on board.
