As I recall the movie presentation, all five of the men, including Jim Elliot, were murdered at the scene where their plane landed after having spent a number of different days dropping gifts of food(?) from their low circling plane. It was a powerful story and all of the wives of the men who had lost their lives at the hands of the native's spears, eventually returned in missionary service to carry the gospel to the same tribe. In fact, the person responsible for the death of Jim Elliot, received Jesus as Lord and humbly, with tears asked to be forgiven by Jim's wife for what he had done. I hope I am able to be there when they meet each other in the kingdom. God cares! Jesus saves! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
