I heard that they were a bad idea because then thieves know how many kids you have and if you also have a bumper sticker that says "my kid is an honor roll student at _______ school" they also know when you will be gone to pick up them up. If your stick people have sports equipment then they know you will be gone for practice in the afternoon, etc. While I do think they are cute, I guess they do say way too much about your family.
