Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted May 8, 2014 Members Posted May 8, 2014 don't know if any of you have been following the story of Eric, a homeless man, who "won" a lottery of $1000, but there's now a follow-up video.. short synopsis so far: Rahat gave a store clerk $1000 to give to Eric, a homeless man, as the "winner" of a set-up lottery. The video went viral and people started asking how they could also help Eric. An account was created for people around the world to donate to help, with a goal of $20,000. The gifts went far over $40,000. Rahat decided to get a home for Eric... this video shows Eric seeing his new home for the first time.. Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted May 9, 2014 Author Members Posted May 9, 2014 It looks like things are looking up for Eric... he's got a job, so he can start saving more....his home and utilities are paid for a year - and the savings account is jointly monitored by Eric and Rahat, to keep track of where it goes.
