If Shmuel were to receive his much-anticipated promotion, his wife Esther promised to make him an extravagant Shabbos dinner with all of his favorite dishes to celebrate. Sure enough, the day came when Shmuel got his promotion, and he was looking forward to his special Shabbos dinner. But when Friday night came around, Esther hadn’t been able to put everything together.

"I'm so sorry, Shmuel," Esther told him. “I just didn’t have enough time.”

"That's okay," Shmuel replied. "You don't have to make me a nice Shabbos dinner. I’m fine with what you usually make."
