You feel scammed? Why? Because they are fixing bugs? Because they are fixing security issues? Because they are adding features? I'd feel scammed if I had software that wasn't updated at least yearly so that bugs and security issues would be fixed and new features could be added.... What's more, I wouldn't run software that didn't do all these things at least yearly. The bad guys are always searching for vulnerabilities so any responsible software vendor is going to continually patch and update.

they have done some critical fixes, what they said we would have is mobile apps. and other cool stuff the other forum software is more advances, and none of the imports this one properly..

Ahh, that makes sense. Not having an upgrade path for your database to other forum software is not a good thing. I can see why you feel ripped off. I don't know if your forum software is open source or not, but your complaint is typical of proprietary software. If your software, and the software you would like to move to, is open source you could get a programmer to look at doing a database conversion for you, a sort of do-it-yourself conversion if you will. A good database programmer could probably do it for you fairly easily.

One of the problems is this software has features in it that similar software does not have and make converting difficult..

There are some private forums dealing with private matters, some of the have intense ministry to them.

Few similar forum software can import that and keep it a closed private forum.
