Hi Stephen Levi, welcome to the forums, cool name for sure,

Great post. I like number stuff too though I am more inclined to the numbers 3, 9 and 27 and variations there of.

Here is why I like 9's

Again - great post full of mystery and intrigue. There is likely a point as well.

Welcome, Steve,

I kinda infer that your post is about the 7 spirits of God. What about them? Are you implying that instead of 3 persons in one God, are there seven? Seven gods? That seven as a number represents "completeness" or "perfection"? Please explain.

Interesting read, MT. I learned something about Norse mythology tonight.

Then your night is better than it started out being.

If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony.

Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

He could really sincerely think he is the first person EVER to read Revelations and come up with a theory.

Since you had a look Pam - did he get any further into what that theory might actually be on any of those other boards?

You may be on to something.

There is another person here, posting under another name, who has posted on other forums.

I do not have your view or opinion of what I am doing.

I will respect yours, thank you for letting me know how you feel about the preaching the same gospel on all

the Christian forums.

Please do not tell me any further how you feel about what I do somewhere else besides here.

It is not of any importance to the will of God.

Fair enough Mr. Levi

Thing is though sir, if you have gospel to share, share it PLEASE. You post some random bible verses and expect people to know what you are getting at?

I'm sure you are very sincere and really want to get your message across, and that is I guess admirable in its own way, but friend your delivery sucks to be honest. Its really hard to know what your message is, if there is a point to what you are saying.

I will say its got me intrigued though, and very very few Christian things intrigue me, so I actually would really like it if you got to the heart of what your "gospel" is.

(i gotta add though, that your last "will of god" comment kinda lost me, cause i don't think you have any more of a clue about the will of the desert god than any of his other followers)

I agree with MT and Pam, Stephen. If you have a message that you want to communicate, please communicate instead of speaking in runes and riddles. Not criticizing, just trying to plug you into ClubAdventist. Being incomrehensible isn't realyy sharing anything. Think of your audience. We would be more than happy to respond if we had some clue as to what you're driving at.

Rudywoofs and MT Cross are two of the most "real" people on this board. Great people to have as friends. If you want real dialog, talk normal. If people have no clue what you're saying, they will quit responding; and you will truly become a voice in the wilderness (where nobody else is).

What gospel are you preaching? So far it's undecipherable.

okay, Stephen Levi, if you're truly interested in what the SDA stance might be on the Seven Spirits of God, why not do some research?

The following is an editorial from The Advent Review and Sabbath Herald 75, 19, p.316, by SDA theologian and Review editor, A.T. Jones. While it may not reflect the the opinion of all Adventists, it certainly is a very reasonable and thoughtful piece of work - lacking the obfuscating nature of the OP of this thread.

"GOD chose us in Christ "before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love." Eph. 1:4

"But 'all we like sheep have gone astray.' "They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable; there is none that doeth good, no, not one."

"But when we were thus enemies and alienated in our minds by wicked works, when we had altogether missed that for which God chose us, he reconciled us in the body of his flesh through death, to present us holy and unblamable and unreprovable in his sight. Col. 1:21,22.

"It is his, not ours, to present us thus. It cost 'all the fulness of God' to do this; and only he who could pay that price could have the power, and obtain the right, to do it. And for any one but him to undertake to 'present you holy and unblamable and unreprovable in his sight,' is to attempt the impossible.

"No, no! none but he can do it. But bless the Lord, he has the power, and has purchased the right by paying the fulness of the price. The Lord has laid 'help upon one that is mighty;' and he is able to keep you from falling, and to [present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.'

"He can do it.

"He will do it for you, if only you will let him.

"Let him.

"The number seven is used in the Bible to represent fulness, completeness.

"The expression, 'the seven spirits of God,' therefore, that is used several times in the Bible, signifies the fulness, the completeness, of the Spirit of God.

"In other words, it represents the full and complete manifestation of the Holy Spirit in all his characteristics, -- in all phases of the diversities of his operations.

"What, then, are these seven characteristics of the Spirit of God? If we can know how the Spirit was manifested in Christ, we shall know what are these characteristics; for he was filled with all the fulness of God.

"Can we know this of Christ? -- Read this: 'And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding; the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord.' Isaiah 11:2.

"There are just seven: count them --

"1. The Spirit of the Lord; that is, the spirit of mercy, and grace, and long-suffering, and abundance of goodness and truth, and forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin; for that is the Lord. Exodus 34:5-7.

"2. 'The Spirit of wisdom.

"3. The Spirit of 'understanding.'

"4. 'The Spirit of counsel.'

"5. The spirit of 'might.'

"6. 'The spirit of knowledge.'

"7. The spirit of 'the fear of the Lord.'

"The gift of the Holy Ghost, therefore, is the bestowal of the disposition, the character, of the Lord; it is the bestowal of wisdom, of understanding, of counsel, of might, of knowledge, and of the fear of the Lord, upon all who receive the gift of the Holy Ghost As as with Jesus, it will make the receiver 'of quick understanding in the fear of the Lord.'

"In the manifestation of the fulness of the Spirit in the church, he divides to every man severally as he will; for 'to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit,' etc. 1 Cor. 12:8

"'Ask, and it shall be given you.' 'Receive ye the Holy Ghost.'

"Let him divide to you as he will. Do not ask him to do it as you will."
