Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted July 1, 2014 Moderators Posted July 1, 2014 It seems that a Dane, a Swede and a Norwegian were all stranded on a desert island. One day a bottle floats onto the beach. When opened there is a thunder clap, a lightening strike and a genie comes out of the bottle. For releasing me from my prison, you may each have one wish granted, he tells the three. The Dane wants to return home to his apartment and girlfriend. He promptly disappears. The Swede wishes to return to his home with his Ikea furniture. He vanishes. The Norwegian states that he is lonely and he wishes for the return of his two friends. NOTE: The above has been adapted from an article, "The Rise of the Sea Urchin," in the July/August issue of SMITHONIAN, 2014, pages 82 to 89. Quote Gregory

If we all sang the same note in the choir, there'd never be any harmony. Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?

Though they change the end of the joke to say "The viking said he was lonely and wanted all the possessions his two friends". Apparently the joke is much funnier to Vikings that way. in Christ, Bob Quote John 8:32 - The Truth will make you free“The righteousness of Christ will not cover one cherished sin." COL 316.
