Some of the creations are breathtaking -- wonderful artworks crafted from watermelons? They're both tasteful and tasty! The craze is said by some to have started on Italian cruise ships in the Mediterranean. Others credit a Japanese chef known as Takashi, but he told an interviewer that he learned watermelon carving while vacationing in Thailand.
