bonnie Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Making the rounds on Facebook Bill Isbell Moving to Mexico Dear Mr. Obama, Senate and Congress, I'm planning to move my family and extended family into Mexico for my health, and I would like to ask you to assist me. We're planning to simply walk across the border from the U.S. into Mexico , and we'll need your help to make a few arrangements. We plan to skip all the legal stuff like visas, passports, immigration quotas and laws. I'm sure they handle those things the same way you do here. So, would you mind telling your buddy, the President of Mexico, that I'm on my way over? Please let him know that I will be expecting the following: 1. Free medical care for my entire family. 2. English-speaking Government bureaucrats for all services I might need, whether I use them or not. 3 Please print all Mexican Government forms in English. 4. I want my grand kids to be taught Spanish by English-speaking (bi-lingual) teachers. 5. Tell their schools they need to include classes on American culture and history. 6. I want my grand kids to see the American flag on one of the flag poles at their school. 7. Please plan to feed my grand kids at school for both breakfast and lunch. 8. I will need a local Mexican driver's license so I can get easy access to government services. 9. I do plan to get a car and drive in Mexico, but I don't plan to purchase car insurance, and I probably won't make any special effort to learn local traffic laws. 10. In case one of the Mexican police officers does not get the memo from their president to leave me alone, please be sure that every patrol car has at least one English-speaking officer. 11. I plan to fly the U.S. flag from my housetop, put U.S. flag decals on my car, and have a gigantic celebration on July 4th. I do not want any complaints or negative comments from the locals. 12. I would also like to have a nice job without paying any taxes, or have any labor or tax laws enforced on any business I may start. 13. Please have the president tell all the Mexican people to be extremely nice and never say critical things about me or my family, or about the strain we might place on their economy. 14. I want to receive free food stamps. 15. Naturally, I'll expect free rent subsidies. 16. I'll need income tax credits so that although I don't pay Mexican taxes, I'll receive money from the government. 17. Please arrange it so that the Mexican Government pays $4,500.00 to help me buy a new car. 18. Oh yes, I almost forgot, please enroll me free into the Mexican Social Security program so that I'll get a monthly income in my retirement years. I know this is an easy request because you already do all these things for all of his people who walk over to the U.S. from Mexico. I am sure that the President of Mexico won't mind returning the favor if you ask him nicely. Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. Members phkrause Posted July 14, 2014 Members Posted July 14, 2014 The problem is, they need to call the Mexican government and ask them to do this!!! Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
Guest Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Bonnie Well, if it's like that, then maybe I need to go to Mexico too! But I know you're just joking because it would be stupid for any country to do that. Quote

LifeHiscost Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 Recognizing this as satire, I question why someone would not see the reality from our present governmental leadership as normal since the original platform when running for election was based on change for the U.S. Since freedom in America was the norm before he came into office, the opposite would seem to be what is happening now, no disrespect to anyone seeking the betterment of their neighbor, which I believe to be a principle to be exercised by all on an individual basis in the freedom of choice God has given all those who choose to follow His Son, Jesus. "Give to him who asks you, and from him who wants to borrow from you do not turn away. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you,..... They don't have welfare pk, in any shape, form, or fashion. You would be looking for those offices for....who knows how long you would look? Quote

LifeHiscost Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 Quote: Nothing like Christian Sarcasm is there? Except I thought oxymorons cancelled out the truth of the matter. OTOH, some of God's prophets on occasion seem to voice their own opinion when meeting the enemy. "So they took the bull which was given them, and they prepared it, and called on the name of Baal from morning even till noon, saying, “O Baal, hear us!” But there was no voice; no one answered. Then they leaped about the altar which they had made. And so it was, at noon, that Elijah mocked them and said, “Cry aloud, for he is a god; either he is meditating, or he is busy, or he is on a journey, or perhaps he is sleeping and must be awakened.”"1 Kings 18:26-27 NKJV God cares! bonnie Posted July 15, 2014 Author Posted July 15, 2014 Mexicans are just here to take their country back. No,actually these are refugees from central america. Mexico is only helping coyote's get rich off helpless children. Some are making an estimated 50,000 a week on the backs of these children.Bodies of very young children are found floating in the Rio Grande, children are sexually abused and warehoused like cattle. With some of the remarks you have made I can understand why this would bring you enjoyment. As for Mexico taking their country back, who did the Mexicans take in from and should they give it back? bonnie Posted July 16, 2014 Author Posted July 16, 2014 It would be nice if you could answer this. With the condemnation you have for the early settlers along with the enjoyment you take as anything you see as payback who would you have been during those times? Why is your condemnation reserved for the early settlers and the atrocities committed by others escape your hatred? Quote: Who and what would you have been as a human being, raised in the culture of the times? Would you have been the one lone voice speaking out against the atrocities by all?We would all like to think that this behavior would have been beneath us,but would it? Would I as a white person take the opportunity the black slavers presented and buy slaves for resale.Would you as a black man accumulate wealth by selling other africans into horrific conditions? As an early settler would either of us have shown the same mentality and take what we wanted? Or would we have been the two that came and respected boundries? Some will continue to fight the past with great enjoyment, even at the expense of innocent children. It takes all kinds and thankfully each of us is only held accountable for what we do and our hatreds and desire for revenge At least in the short term as you said, you are enjoying this. Moderators lazarus Posted July 16, 2014 Moderators Posted July 16, 2014 You said....Mexicans are just here to take their country back. Who did Mexico take the land from before it was Mexico? Just like the English in the US the Spanish slaughtered the majority of the indigenous people. The US in turn took massive portions of Mexico. Now they are back! Now they are back! You are quick with answers such as this. Why do you avoid questions as in #703142 post? What is unusual or unique behavior to the early settlers that was not common practice world wide? Whether it be Mexico,Indian nations or the very active part of Africans getting wealthy on the misery and cruelty to other Africans> You reserve your hatred for the early settlers and the US in general. Different time, different culture who would you have been. What evil acts may you have committed and felt right in doing so? Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make. You want me to switch topics. Start another thread. I guess it may take a while for you to find an article to support your thread. Quote: You reserve your hatred for the early settlers and the US in general. Projecting again I think. The fact that you always descend to the lowest point to make it personal is evidence of where the hatred some from. It's rather predictable. Of course the settlers did many of the same things that others did. In the same way that when children say "Jonny does it too" is not acceptable your argument does not hold water. It's just deflecting. It's a way to resolve the contradictions in American culture. Quote Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities.
