So that Sunday, Moishe prepared Miriam a heaping stack of chocolate-chip pancakes, her favorite childhood breakfast. Then he took her to the playground’s merry-go-round. They finished the day with a banana split. "So how did you enjoy being a kid for a day?" Moishe asked. "Great," Miriam said. "But when I said I wanted to be eight again, I meant my dress size."
