Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted July 27, 2014 Members Posted July 27, 2014 just had a phone call from my brother that there's a 4000 acre forest fire just 8 miles SE of Leoni Meadows Camp in the California Sierra Nevadas. They're on alert for possible evacuation. The camp is requesting prayers for the fire to be contained and diverted from the path to Leoni Meadows... Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted July 28, 2014 Author Members Posted July 28, 2014 just spoke with my brother on the phone again...he said the fire is closer, and some church members living just south of Leoni Meadows are under mandatory evacuation... the camp is still operating (but on contingency measures) and just signed in the next group of campers..
