watcher Posted November 9, 2005 Posted November 9, 2005 A friend of mine told me just last night that all varieties of Fri Chick and the frozen "turkey" slices made by Worthington now have milk listed as ingredients. I have not checked this out myself yet but as the mother of a son with a severe milk allergy, I thought others might want to reread labels in the store for products we previously have found to be safe. Also if you do find that some of your favorites now have unwanted ingredients, please phone or email the company. Thank You Quote
Administrators Gail Posted July 19, 2013 Administrators Posted July 19, 2013 We have laws here in Canada that foods with certain allergens are to have warning labels on them. Otherwise they can be recalled. When I told the girl who does our food, she said that there are sufficient labels on the brands we have except for Cedar Lake. With those we plan to post signs on the shelves. The main allergen that concerns those foods here is gluten. But yes, milk would be one, too.
