I believe that I first heard this from George Vandeman, but it was also being discussed a little bit at Andrews. Again languages are my weak point but apparently the word that Jesus gave for the only reason for divorce was a Greek word that translators did not know how to translate. That they picked the word "Adultery" or similar words because that was the only reason that they could think of. However at that time, as Vandeman and a couple of talks at Andrews pointed out, that there was more discovery about that word and that it had a bigger scope than just adultery and that it may also include abuse. I'm wondering if there are any updates in this study. But this was an excellent message. Quote
