Total Failure

Yesterday, my main computer failed. It is in the shop today.

I am learning new skills in using a tablet and a smart phone.

In any case, time using a computer may be limited. And, my typos may increase. :)

My iMac is also dead- motherboard, I've been told. I have been pondering using my iPad for everything. It may be difficult to find a driver for my printer and scanner but there HAS to be a way.

One of the benefits of iCloud, well, either iCloud or Kindle cloud... I loaded the Amazon app to my phone and when I next used my iPad the app was also on it! I don't know if I ALWAYS want my devices/apps to do that but in this case it was okay.

I suspect it was the Kindle cloud that was responsible.

My MacBook Pro is now going on 9 years old. I have replaced a few things on it. It needs a new fan, but I left them in Massachusetts. As soon as I get my stuff I will fix that. One reason people fry there Motherboards is because the fans stop working and they overheat. So far I've been lucky or should I say blessed that I have not done that to my mac. I've had 3 PCs fry there motherboards because of that. I never had a chance to fix the fans before they fried the MBs. Oh well that's life.
