I have a couple of questions that maybe someone can answer:

 

1)  When I post something, how do I insert a quotation in that post?   Copy and paste does not work.

 

2)  In the old forum, people could send me messages and I could send private messages to people.  How do I do that in this new forum?

 

3) If I Could do that, how can I insert a quotation in my message?

to quote from an outside source, you need to click the little "balloon" icon in the second row of the toolbar (it's 7 icons from the right)

 

(you'll see the toolbar when you click to begin a new post)

to send someone a message, you need to click the person's name to get to their profile.  Once there, you'll see the tab to "send me a message"..

to put a quote into a private message, select the "send me a message", then click on "Use Full Editor" at the bottom, and click on the little balloon again, just as for the quoting in a thread..
