Joe_in_RP Posted September 9, 2014 Posted September 9, 2014 Imagine, a five-year-old child, living in a Third World country, in which the house and surroundings are very poor. By first world standards, It is considered squalor. However, the child acess to the Internet. Now if the child can Understand/Speak English or Chinese, the world is open to them. That child has an encyclopedia at their fingertips. In a large part of the world, the children are taught what the teacher knows, or what the book says. In many poor communities( billions of people) there's one textbook for the teacher. None for the children. But now, this child within a few years, can be smarter than the teachers. By age 12, using the Internet for research projects, the child is easily smarter than many of the adults in the community. How is this going to impact the world? Things that used to be hidden, scandals, secret information ( like the money supply from the Federal Reserve) are now out in the open. This young child, can learn hidden things, the truth about how governments work, things their parents never knew. Things their parents may not even understand. How is this going to impact the world? One child in the neighborhood with Internet access, can teach the other children. They can become a leader, simply because they have the knowledge. The Internet also increases understanding about basic school curriculum. The text will can only explain a little bit. But the Internet Especially with the Wikipedia can go into tremendous depth about a topic. You want to know about volcanoes, there are thousands of pages explaining the details about volcanoes. This information was never available to the poor people before. It's going this interesting to see how this plays out. There is a large organization, who for many years, has keep the people In the dark. In many parts of the world, there is an effort to dumb down the education system. In the Third World countries, many have succeeded this for a number of years. Keeping the population below a certain knowledge level, makes them easier to control. It makes it easier to steal their money. But now, through the power of the Internet, the poor people are becoming smarter. Slowly at first. But it is accelerating. If a public official in a Third World country is involved in any kind of a scandal, it's quickly known throughout the country, because of Facebook. It's going to be very interesting. Quote

"But as for you, Daniel, conceal these words and seal up the book until the end of time; many will go back and forth, and knowledge will increase." Daniel 12:3-4 I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved. And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God. Esaias also crieth concerning Israel, Though the number of the children of Israel be as the sand of the sea, a remnant shall be saved: For he will finish the work, and cut it short in righteousness: because a short work will the Lord make upon the earth. Romans 9:25-28 Even so! Come Lord Jesus! God is Love! Jesus saves! Quote Lift Jesus up!!
