Members rudywoofs (Pam) Posted September 29, 2014 Members Posted September 29, 2014 Watson White was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1888. Following in the footsteps of his father, Watson attended Harvard University, graduating in 1910. He immediately became a reporter for the New York Sun newspaper, but decided to go back to Harvard's Law School (his father, Moses Perkins White, was a Boston and Cambridge attorney of note). While at Harvard, Watson White participated in a number of university-sponsored drama programs which he enjoyed immensely.... so much so, that he became a professional actor, playing in a number of movies and on television -- the most notable being his portrayal of the defense attorney in the 1951 science fiction series, "Tales of Tomorrow" on television's ABC station. (He can be seen in the pilot episode, starting at the 4 minute mark here: The photo below is taken from the movie) Watson White died in New York City in on New Year's Day 1968, having never married. Watson's grandfather was Samuel Shepherd White, a Baptist minister and brother of James Springer White (Ellen G White's husband). Funny, isn't it, how we accept Grace for ourselves and demand justice for others?
