joeb Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 I have a little story to tell that I think demonstrates just how patient females, in general, are with males, in general. Now, my story doesn't directly deal with humans, but it's pretty easy to generalize this to women themselves. I have a 4.5 lb Chihuahua/Papillon cross male that has not been castrated. My mother-in-law has an 80 lb female dog that has not been fixed. When she goes into heat my little dog goes bananas. If he can find her sitting down or lying down he jumps on her. When he does my mother-in-law's dog turns around and looks at him like "what are you doing"? She then just stands up and slowly walks away. She doesn't snarl, bite, or even begin to act aggressive towards him even though he does this every chance he gets. How does this demonstrate the the patience of female sex? Well, I can remember when I was young, and I've observed many a young man. I, and all the young men I've observed, are/were drawn to the fairer sex just about as strongly as my pup is to my mother-in-law's dog. We humans are just about as clumsy as my pup in going about trying to win the favor of young ladies. We have just as hard of a time as understanding what women want as my pup does understanding what a female dog does. But, it has also been my observation, and experience, that the fairer human sex is very tolerant, very patient, with the clumsy advances of human males. I observed my pup this morning, and have observed myself for decades, and made the connection between the two of us and our "problems" in attempting to figure out what women want. Thank you, ladies, for being so kind and caring. We males just don't "get" you most of time. Quote Liberty cannot be established without morality, nor morality without faith.Alexis de Tocqueville
Administrators Gail Posted October 15, 2014 Administrators Posted October 15, 2014 I am so glad you got an object lesson out of that! Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
