The Isuroon Project says there is a ‘desperate need’ for a culturally specific halal food shelf in the metro area which would cost taxpayers more than $150,000! Think about what he said and what is happening in this country. We're losing our freedoms and political correctness is how much of this is expressed. If we, as a nation, truly believed God, and followed His word, our freedoms would not be disappearing and political correctness would have never gained the power it has over the people of this nation. That is like saying if Adam and Eve hadn't sinned. We live in a secular world,most are not governed by biblical reasoning. Nor will they be. I doubt that this group would be impressed and apologize for their unreasonable demands. Our local food shelf is located in the same building as City Hall. Going in one entrance you have to go thru a long corridor that leads to the City Hall. This is the corridor where those using the food shelf line up at least an hour and half before opening. Some families bring their small children and that is a long wait for them. To bad,signs are very prominent that parents with children not being restrained will be asked to leave. It has been enforced with great success.A sign on the door of the food shelf says the same but a little stronger. Control your children or you will told to leave,without your food allotment. I suppose there are those that believe quoting the scriptures given would be the way to get thru to the parents,but many really don't care what scripture says as they don't believe it applies to them. What gets thru with out a lot of aggravation and disruption is. Don't do this or you will not be allowed. Going without groceries till the next week makes a believer out of parents that won't control their families voluntarily. A simple "these are the rules for everyone that makes use of the food shelf,if you object go elsewhere" gets to the heart of the matter Quote Everything you do is based on the choices you make.
