Wikipedia  Homelessness in the United States is an area of concern for social service providers, government officials, policy professionals, and society at large.^[1] The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in January 2012 annual point-in-time count found that 633,782 people across America were homeless. 

 

Huffington post  HMIS data obtained from the Homeless Action Network of Detroit found there were 19,213 total homeless people in the cities of Detroit, Hamtramck and Highland Park in 2011, a decrease of 5 percent from 2010.

 

Some have equated the U.S. as following in the steps of the Roman empire so our riches may be short lived.

Today on the same RT news program I heard two different clips in the same time slot, one clip indicating there are over 110,000,000 people world wide who are malnourished, and the other clip mentioning something about an individual who received a salary of $11,000,000. Gee! I wonder if one has anything to do with the other?
