aka Posted February 9, 2015 Author Posted February 9, 2015 How to Post a new Profile Avatar 1. Click on your name in top bar on the upper right 2. Click on 'Change' when hovering over your Photo spot 3. Click on 'Use Custom Photo' 4. Click on 'Upload from File now the index of all your folders/files open up. I am assuming you have pictures stored already in some folder labeled 'pictures'. -surely, I say in hope and belief. Click on Up-Load from file to get the list of pictures you need to look through. 5. After seeing the picture list then off to the right it is possible to preview the picture. The icon is up right corner. Just activate it by clicking on it and deactivate it by clicking on it. 6. Having chosen your picture by going through previews of them, click on the one you want in the list of ....jpeg 7. Uploading from file begins. The cropped version is on the right and the original size is on the left. 8. Down at the bottom to the right it says 'done'. Click on that. All should be well and you now have an avatar like the rest of the elite ones. Sylvia49 1 Quote

Fly over to this site and scrowl down to 'What is the Finder'. http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201732 Highlight/copy/paste ought to be somewhere there when wanting to take icons from a website onto your drive. I went here but couldn't fine any help for highlight/copy/paste. https://www.apple.com/support/macbasics/tour/ Best bet is to download a PDF instruction manual for your type of Mac. http://www.everymac.com/mac-manuals/index-mac-manuals.html Quote
