Members phkrause Posted February 9, 2015 Members Posted February 9, 2015 Chaim Yankel was the Hebrew teacher in the Chelm Hebrew School. His students caught him daydreaming in class one day so he decided to tell them what was on his mind, “If I was Rothschild I would be richer than Rothschild." “But how can that be?” said one of Chaim Yankel’s students. “Richer than Rothschild?!” “Ah,” replied Chaim Yankel with a glean in his eye, “because I would give Hebrew lessons on the side!" Quote phkrause When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice; But when a wicked man rules, the people groan. Proverbs 29;2
