puddles Posted December 1, 2005 Posted December 1, 2005 Please pray for my brother John. This past August, John was operated on for a detached retina. There was a 50/50 chance he'd end up with having to have cateract surgery. Last Wednesday, he found out for sure he would have to have cateract surgery but with a slight twist. Seems the surgeon discovered something odd in my brother case. Somehow a knick/slit in the "posterior thingie" in his eye and his surgeon is concerned that he has a 70% chance of having the lens implant slip thru this opening. IF this happens, the surgeon will have to go BACK and operate again to retrieve the lens. I don't know enough about this to really even be talking about it BUT feel it's serious enough to have you folks to pray for this odd situation. I guess you could say the short version of this request is to pray that the cataract surgery goes as normal as possible with NO complications. As of today, the surgery has been scheduled for Wednesday, Dec 7 in the am. Quote
