8thdaypriest Posted February 23, 2015 Posted February 23, 2015 I received an email at my PVP website, asking for my opinion of another website: www.daniel11truth.com. The site is VERY complicated, with lots of charts and diagrams. I thought maybe some of you prophecy buffs here, could render an analysis. I'm NOT saying that I agree with this guy. Just that I'd appreciate your opinions. Maybe there is some obvious flaw that you could pick up on right away. Blessings, Rachel Cory Timothycure 1 Quote 8thdaypriest
Ted Oplinger Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Just from a quick skimming, noting the words "rapture", "Christians in heaven before plagues start", and the roles various countries are playing in the Middle East affairs...it looks very similar to the Hal Lindsey-esque prophetic school of teaching, only the Communist countries of the 70's and 80's are now replaced with ISIS of today. Pretty much everything else is the same. Hence, it is not something I will critique as lending valuable or credible counsel to God's people in these last days. Better contributions are out there. To take the cross of Christ means to depend solely on Him for everything, and this is the abasement of all human pride. Men love to fancy themselves independent. But let the cross be preached, let it be made known that in man dwells no good thing and that all must be received as a gift, and straightway someone is offended." Ellet J. 8thdaypriest Posted February 28, 2015 Author Posted February 28, 2015 Thanks Ted. Appreciate your "quick skim". Quote 8thdaypriest
12tribes Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 It is way out. Daniel 11:3 KJV (3) And a mighty king shall stand up, that shall rule with great dominion, and do according to his will. Daniel 11:16 KJV (16) But he that cometh against him shall do according to his own will, and none shall stand before him: and he shall stand in the glorious land, which by his hand shall be consumed. Daniel 11:36 KJV (36) And the king shall do according to his will; and he shall exalt himself, and magnify himself above every god, and shall speak marvellous things against the God of gods, and shall prosper till the indignation be accomplished: for that that is determined shall be done. The phrase underlined is introducing a new power. Notice also Daniel 8 Daniel 8:4 KJV (4) I saw the ram pushing westward, and northward, and southward; so that no beasts might stand before him, neither was there any that could deliver out of his hand; but he did according to his will, and became great. Quote Galatians 3:29(29) And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.
LifeHiscost Posted March 29, 2015 Posted March 29, 2015 Thanks Ted. Appreciate your "quick skim". There is never any negative major biblical events occurring in the Word that has the children of God escaping all affects of the trial, but rather going through them and in the end being delivered from the assaults. I see no reason why end time events should be any different with instruction to prepare, indicating willingness to cooperate with God's instruction, Noah's instruction to build the ark being the most striking, especially since there had never before been anything such as falling rain up to that time. 9“I smote you with scorching wind and mildew; And the caterpillar was devouring Your many gardens and vineyards, fig trees and olive trees; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the LORD. 10“I sent a plague among you after the manner of Egypt; I slew your young men by the sword along with your captured horses, And I made the stench of your camp rise up in your nostrils; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the LORD. 11“I overthrew you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, And you were like a firebrand snatched from a blaze; Yet you have not returned to Me,” declares the LORD. 12“Therefore thus I will do to you, O Israel; Because I will do this to you, Prepare to meet your God, O Israel.”...Amos 4 God is Love!
