Why did it take three weeks (actually it was much longer) of negotiations to bring him back. In one word money! If Peyton remained where he was, his 2015 salary would be some 19 million dollars. In order to return to Denver, Peyton has agreed to a salary of some 15 million dollars. NOTE: I am recommending that Club Adventist set up a fund to help compensate Peyton for his 4 million loss of salary. I am willing to contribute the 1st dollar to that fund. JoeMo Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 IMO, it's better to go out in a blaze of glory than to just slowly fade to black. I hope Peyton hasn't chosen the latter route. I'm not gonna donate to Gregory's fund. I'll make sure I purchase some tuna and mac & cheese so his family can at least eat. He'll have to go to the Rocky Mountain Food Bank to pick it up, though.
