Quite a bit of eisegesis of the little scripture he uses. Proverbs 14:12 is a text that sprung to mind as I had a looked through. America was partially founded as a result of the power of the gun. Too many Americans live by the "sword" and we see this country destroying itself by the same tool. Too many Americans live by the "sword" and we see this country destroying itself by the same tool. I would hesitate to say this country is destroying itself by the presence of guns. I think a more likely culprit would be the gluttony and selfishness of the people who are just not interested enough to be involved anymore and can't even bother to stay informed and go vote. How hard is that?! Wait until the next round of terror attacks in this country. While the current regime is bending over backwards to Islamify this country, there are known terrorists training camps in this country, and the government is threatening to shoot down any Israeli jets going after Iran, and on and on, the handguns issue just doesn't seem that important a concern and even seems to be a necessity. However, from an SDA viewpoint, I tend to think guns are somewhat unnecessary.
