The issue of the Sabbath in the coming conflict

"As long as our faith endures" is a meaningless term without a demonstration of such. Anyone can profess faith and proclaim their faith in enduring , but profession is meaningless without demonstration.

James 2:20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead? 2:22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

Q: What was made perfect, his faith or righteousness?

A: His faith was made perfect!

Then James gives two examples:

1] Abraham's faith had grown perfect.  How so?  He willing to slay his son, Issac, because God promised that through him a great nation would come.  Abraham figured for God to keep his promise that He would have to raise Issac from the dead in order to keep His promise.  That is faith in action.  See Hebrew 11:17-19

2] Rahab, the harlot, was willing to put her life on the line in order to help the Israeli spies escape.  That's a faith that works!  She was just before God because her action proved her faith even though she was still a harlot and failing God's law.
