What Did Jesus Say About Money and Wealth?

What are the treasures in heaven?

I believe that Jesus is teaching us what his Kingdom is like...the complete absence of Self, selfishness, possessions, money, power and position...all replaced with the opposites. Even though the Chosen will own nothing, they can still access whatever they need: houses, lands, tools, food, etc., plus, there will be the pleasant camaraderie, shared experiences, and deep friendships that were never experienced in the previous life. In the Kingdom, no one will have any dark secrets to hide, nor will anyone want to harm others or control them in order to force them to conform to their demands. Only respect for others will reign, and a powerful desire to help them with any needs they might have.

Not sure if there will be any actual money in the Kingdom, maybe just barter or credits. Unlike the greedy, world-wide corporations destroying the Earth and enslaving the workers in our time, any monetary system would be carefully controlled in order to be fair to everyone. No more billionaires riding in luxury on the backs of the common people working for them. It will likely be some sort of communal system where land, houses, tools, and food will be shared by a certain number of workers, maybe 50-100. With selfishness eradicated, there will be peace and joy for the workers as they complete their tasks for YHVH, growing food and raising animals. Their cost? A tithe to the LORD of the best of whatever they produce or harvest to support those who may not live on the land and are not able to grow their own food.

One might suspect that the entire history of the world will be erased, inducing a global amnesia in which nothing is remembered from the old days of human dominion of the planet...the arts, sciences, business, wars...only the record of good deeds is kept in order to reward those who valued others more than themselves.
