Jeran Artery, Chairman of Wyoming Equality made a statement arguing that churches who do not support gay marriage should lose their tax exempt status. Artery posted this on his Facebook page: “Churches that lobby to have freedoms and rights taken away from ANYONE should absolutely have their 501©3 status revoked!!” Artery enjoys his freedom of speech and religious freedom; however, he believes that if you disagree with his views on same sex marriage, your church should be shut down.
