Administrators Gail Posted April 10, 2015 Administrators Posted April 10, 2015 This might be just me, but is it weird to isolate the 10 from the group of 148? As if the 10 were the notable ones? rudywoofs (Pam) 1 Quote Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted April 10, 2015 Author Moderators Posted April 10, 2015 I will suggest that the issue is that God has not promised us relief from the affairs of life and our members suffer along with the rest of the world. Quote Gregory

B/W Photodude Posted April 11, 2015 Posted April 11, 2015 The first sentence noted that the ten Adventists were among 148 who lost their lives. It really just tells of two peoples experience in the event and shows the tragedy happens to Christians and to Christians who happen to be SDA. Being an SDA periodical, it seems natural to mention Adventists were among the Christians who suffered this fate. I suspect that any other sect will mention the number of their group also. SDAs shared this tragedy. Quote >>>Texts in blue type are quotes<<< ***************************************************************************** And therefore as a stranger give it welcome.
