Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted April 16, 2015 Moderators Posted April 16, 2015 I have seen and/or have a number of books that attempt to prove the truth of Christ and/or Christianity. Generally I am unimpressed and consider them at best to be weak. Examples: David Limbaugh, JESUS ON TRIAL: Weak in some sections and stronger in other sections. Hans Kung, DOES GOD EXIST? Examination of such philosophy as that of Aristotle, Sartre, Sophocles, Beckett and others. Might reach some people but probably not the common person. So, it was with a bias that I read the book (Lee Strobel, THE CASE FOR EASTER) recently given me at a church event.. I consider it to be outstanding. It is the right size (95 pages). It addresses three important questions in aa comprehensive manner. It cites eight longer books for further study. I recommend it highly for your own devotional life and to give to others: Lee Strobel, THE CASE FOR EASTER: A JOURNALIST INVESTIGATES THE EVIDENCE FOR THE RESURECTION. Zondervan, 2003. 95 pages.
