Time for a walk....

A heart where He alone has first place.

Posted

A walk in the rain, misty and cold.

With gloves and coat and hat.

An umbrella to shelter the tears of my soul.

A walk in the rain will help with that.

Down misty alleys filled with power lines

huddled under my coat and umbrella.

Somehow the wetness feels sorta fine

While lights pop on kind of yella'.

Pale white light casts no heat

as people come home in the city.

Evening steals in on soft cat's feet

and the rain pounds out a soft ditty.

A walk in the rain, misty and cold

relieves my mind of it's stresses.

The tears of my soul are no longer bold

but hide from the rain in my tresses.

Ecclesiastes 4:10 For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him [that is] alone when he falleth; for [he hath] not another to help him up.

Hey, great!

I've been down those streets... and they're still in my soul... So's those days of tall trees and silver sun.

Heartwarming, Clio. Good on top you.

Clouds sink low as the path climbs high

on the shoulders of the mountain.

My thirst grows and my mouth is dry

As I search for the living Fountain.

The path is narrow, steep, and slick.

From valley deeps to ridgelines.

Winding upwards, fogged in mists

Drawn onward, up the incline.

By the cool clear water’s flow

My Saviour gently leads me.

Where He leads I gladly go,

I am His sheep, He feeds me.

From the wells of joy I drew

refreshing living water.

Freely offered, my joy grew

As the Daughter of my Father.

From mountain top to valley deep

The path leads into peril.

I pray the Lord my soul to keep

From demons dark and feral.

His rod and staff they comfort me.

The rain beats down upon us.

I walk by faith, the path unseen

With calm, unfailing trust.

By the cool clear water’s flow

My Saviour gently leads me.

Where He leads I gladly go,

I am His sheep, He feeds me.
