Moderators Kevin H Posted May 5, 2015 Moderators Posted May 5, 2015 (edited) Sadly within 24 hours of Ben Carson announcing his run for President he had to go and say a sad good night to his mother, Sonya Carson, as this noble woman has fallen asleep in the Lord. While I have not read an official announcement I saw a facebook post from Ben Carson saying that he had to cancel an event to be with his mother one last time. then today read an article saying that with in the same 24 hours of his announcement that he lost his mother. She was a strong lady .... a friend of a dear friend of mine I did not know her personally but vicariously knew her through stories from my friend of back in the day. Then the next day was a couple of news stories one I heard on the TV noon news and the other was a news story I read online about him that said that he lost his mother within 24 hours of his announcement for running for president. I'd be glad if the reporters had only read his facebook message but that she survived and they reported her death too soon. Quote
