The Court-Marital of Paul Revere

Probably every school child knows the story of Paul Revere, also called a son of Liberty, the man who rode the horse to Lexington Mass., in 1775, warning the people that the  British were coming. While this story is well known, few probably know that Paul Revere was court-martialed, in 1782 for cowardice and un-soldier-like behavior related to an incident that happened in 1779.

If that surprises you, you will likely be more surprised by the name of the Lt. Col. who insisted that Paul Revere be court-martialed.

We once took a tour in Boston and there was mention of some of this. Can't recall most of it, but just some of it. Pretty interesting, thanks for posting
