The world is holding up a microphone to Dr. Carson's mouth! #Lights! Camera! Action! 4 Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily. 5 It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. In Genesis 1:1 Moses is simply setting the scene for his book. As Seventh-day Adventist Christians we should be supporting our brother in Christ, not dishing up flaky responses against him. That's what the Pharisees did to Jesus.Questions for you to consider:1. All through the biblical ages God lead his leaders, why do you feel God can't be leading Dr. Carson?2. Where does the bible talk against speaking up for truth in political circles on the Sabbath day? 3. Where does the bible require you to be in a church building every Saturday at 11am? 4. Where does the bible say that Adventist congregations teach only the truth and non-Adventist congregations never do?5. Your questions come from a "why not" or "why can't" position. One could use that approach to say " why cannot a person keep Sunday as the Sabbath ?" or " Where does the Bible say getting high on drugs is wrong"? #5 "Exactly, like you do" ? What worship service even comes close to teaching and preaching the Three Angel's Messages? If they talk about them at all it is about computer chips and the pre trib rapture. As I recall, somewhere the counsel is given that it is better to worship alone at home alone, than to attend worship services where known false doctrine is espoused. OTOH there is no direct command not to meet with true believers who have yet to be taught the Truth. 8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things....Philippians 4 16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you. 18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty....2 Corinthians 6 God is Love!
