In spite of the incredible challenge that the Government of Japan currently faces, Mr. Tadahiko Yamaguchi , the First Secretary, Head of the Economic Affairs and Development Assistance Division, Embassy of Japan, was pleased to deliver a cheque in the sum of US$103,407 (approx. JA$8, 789, 595) to fund one of Northern Caribbean University’s (NCU) community based agricultural projects. The Project for Sustainable Food Production on Mined-Out Bauxite Lands seeks to establish a sustainable agricultural programme by working with over 500 community members on mined-out bauxite lands in Manchester.
