Stan Posted May 14, 2015 Posted May 14, 2015 So then the question begs to be answered, what we he do to compensate the families of the 160,000 civilians killed by the US troops? No wonder so many of America's Finest are suffering from PTSD. Ron Lambert Posted May 22, 2015 Posted May 22, 2015 It has since been proven beyond question that in fact WMD did exist in Iraq. All those who called President Bush a liar owe him, and all the rest of us, an apology. We ought not to perpetuate those lying slanders. From 2004 to 2011, American and American-trained Iraqi troops repeatedly encountered, and on at least six occasions were wounded by, chemical weapons remaining from years earlier in Saddam Hussein’s rule. In all, American troops secretly reported finding roughly 5,000 chemical warheads, shells or aviation bombs, according to interviews with dozens of participants, Iraqi and American officials, and heavily redacted intelligence documents obtained under the Freedom of Information Act. Ron Lambert Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 "5,000 chemical warheads, shells or aviation bombs" containing chemical weapons such as the nerve gas sarin (in binary form) have always been classified as weapons of mass destruction. Iraq used them agains the Kurds, and before that against the Iranians during the Iran-Iraq war. It really requires significant stupidity not to think that Iran still had those weapons. Quote
