Robert Posted May 16, 2015 Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) Clearly money talks in Washington DC and many politicians are brought and paid for by the rich and powerful. When these scoundrels are finally exposed they will, as in previous times throughout history, call to their defense a corrupt religious institution. Sunday legislation will be use as robe to hide from the public the real sin, which corruption and injustice at the highest levels! Political corruption is destroying love of justice and regard for truth, and even in free America rulers and legislators, in order to secure public favour, will yield to the popular demand for a law enforcing Sunday observance.--GC 578, 579, 592 (1911). This very class put forth the claim that the fast-spreading corruption is largely attributable to the desecration of the so-called "Christian sabbath" and that the enforcement of Sunday observance would greatly improve the morals of society. --GC 587 (1911).
