Adventist Church Controlling Costs During Global Financial Challenge

Leaders of the General Conference of Seventh-day Adventists are keeping an eye on expenditures as the church begins to feel the effects of the economic downturn. On Feb. 12, 2009, the GC’s Administrative Committee, or ADCOM, voted to continue several restraints on spending, though no employee layoffs were announced.
