Church, Pastors, Can Speak on ‘Moral’ Ballot Issues, NARLA Says

While current Federal regulations in the United States bars churches and pastors from endorsing or opposing specific political candidates in an election, Seventh-day Adventist pastors, as well as the church itself, can speak on moral issues coming up for a vote, such as marriage, gambling, and alcohol licensing without fear of losing a tax exemption for the church, the North American Religious Liberty Association said.
