The law in Galatians

When you call my interpretation of prophecy simply "wishful thinking", you are demeaning me.  That is not respectful.

WHY would I "wish" one fulfillment rather than another ?  Just so I can be right? 

If you knew me better, you would know that I HAVE revised, adjusted, or changed my teaching many times over the years.  I used to believe ardently in the prophetic gift of EGW.  I used to teach that our God is a Trinity of 3 divine persons.  I used to believe that we must reach "perfection" of character in order to "stand" on the Day of God, at the Second Coming.  I used to believe that the Feasts are obsolete. 

I experience real grief and loss, when my adjustments resulted in the loss of my "church family".    So don't tell me that I follow "wishes".

Note the following: 

 

 

1] To rely on the law means to have confidence in your law performance for your entrance into paradise.  Paul typically uses the phrase "works of the law" to mean the same.

 

 

2] If one is rely on the "works of the law" then that individually must fulfill every law found in "the book of the law", i.e., the Pentateuch, the first, five books of the OT.

 

 

Now here's my central question:  What law condemns the sinner to the second death (i.e., the curse of the law)?

 

 

Let me give you Ellen White and then let's attempt to prove what she states given to context of Galatians chapter 3:

 

 

 

The moral law of God defines sin - and remains according to both Romans 3 and Gal 3 ... so also Romans 7 and Romans 6 (and 1 John 3:4)

 

"what matters is KEEPING the Commandments of God" 1 Cor 7:19
