NCU Hosts Historic Video Conference Commemorating Bi-Centenary of the Abolition of the Slave Trade

On Thursday, May 3, 2007, Northern Caribbean University, specifically through its History Department, hosted a memorable and historically relevant event. A video conference to facilitate discussion on the book, Olaudah Equiano: the Interesting Narrative and Other Writings, between Jamaica, the United Kingdom and Ghana was held in commemoration of the bi-centenary of the abolition of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade.
