A steward is anyone who accepts Christ’s leadership, walks in partnership, and acts as God’s agent to manage His affairs on earth. The behavior of the steward reflects God’s desire for his good. This desire is expressed in the words of John: “I pray that you may enjoy good health, and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well.” 3 John 2 (NIV).
