Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted May 29, 2015 Moderators Posted May 29, 2015 (edited) The Adventist Today posting is a Christianized, original, work that is probably stimulated by the 1884 book, FLATLAND, written by Edwin Abbott, who wrote under the name A Square. In this work, the inhabitants exist in a reality that they can only understand as two dimensional. In this work they are visited by A Square who attempts to convince them that there is a two dimensional reality that exists beyond their limited understanding. However, most think that A Square is insane. That book is a classic of literature. It has been reprinted multiple times, and as late as 2008. A movie was made of it in 1965 and two movies were made of it in 2007. Sheldon makes a reference to it in one of the episodes of The Big Bang Theory.
