Throughout the Scriptures, each disciple of Christ is encouraged to grow spiritually. Peter admonishes: “But grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.” 2Peter 3:13. For this growth to take place, the follower of Christ will heed the advice to “offer your body as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God – this is your act of spiritual worship.” Rom. 12:1.
