On a bright and pleasant summer afternoon, Friday, July 16, 1915 at 3:40 p.m., Ellen Gould White fell asleep in Jesus. She had been used by God to minister to the Seventh-day Adventist church for seventy and a half years, from her first vision in December 1844, to the day of her death in 1915.
