Moderators Gregory Matthews Posted July 3, 2015 Author Moderators Posted July 3, 2015 A "historic Adventist" looks back to the very early days of the founding of the SDA denomination, a time when a diverse group of people, who came from various denominational backgrounds were united on the nearness of the 2nd Advent. That person selects a specific subset of beliefs that existed within the group of Adventists and calls upon people to return to that subset of beliefs. Quote Gregory
Maxx Posted July 13, 2015 Posted July 13, 2015 " It seems like only yesterday Americans had elected the first black president and there was brave talk about a “post racial” society. And now it seems like the clock has been set back nearly 50 years." Of course it is, there would be a lot of "community organizers" out of work if it wasn't. There is a huge difference in reconsolidation versus retribution and the "white guilt" movement has chosen to move America back 50 years. The truth about the "New World" is not recognized because it doesn't conform to roadmap of progressivism. Go to the "New World" of Silicon Valley to see what is really happening in regards to "Post Racial America" and look to Baltimore, Chicago, Detroit and so on... to see the end results of old progressive policies of division and class structure. There is a "Post Racial" world out there, created by a generation of intelligent, ambitious and libertarian minded young people. We can recognize this brave new world or continue on the path that sets us back 50 years! Quote

Just a side note: Having seen the remnants of a small church which a group of Historic Adventists became involved with for a couple of years, I would suggest that sticking with our truths and structure is most assuredly inspired. Obama's election just served to flush out the residual racism that's out there. Just like the flag controversy has flushed out all the confederate flag lovers. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence. Einstein
