The good old KJV talks about God's mercy which endures forever.

Some translations render cheçed as, "faithful love". Which do you prefer?

My Strong's dictionary says of this very important word that 3 basic meanings can be given to the word: strength, steadfastness, and love. Furthermore, any understanding of the word must include all three of these aspects or else some of the richness in meaning will be lost.

Personally, when thinking upon God's mercy, I tended to have perhaps a more narrow view of the expression than I should have. His mercy has grown for me in my understanding since this dig. It is not only (in my mind) enduring for ever, but it is stronger than I imagined. His love is for ME and for every sinner much more than anything I can find among my fellows.

Isaiah 32:17 And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever.
